You can hear a faint bubbling sound, a freshly-prepared mushroom sauce is simmering in a pot. The air is filled with the pungent aroma of garden herbs and wild mushrooms. Two hands are moulding the soft dough, forming it into a regular shape to produce homemade tagliatelle.
On another table, some crunchy apples are waiting to be turned into a delicious dessert …
